JFee Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 So I'm trying to create a program that will let you connect to an IP, and once connected stream audio from your computer to it. I have NO idea where to start, or if this is even possible, so any advice is greatly appreciated. I am trying to do this because my friend and I want to be able to jam with our guitars over IP, and things like Skype have too much compression. So if anyone knows of software that will let me do this or something similar with very little compression, please let me know muttley Regards,Josh
weaponx Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 AutoIt isn't part of the solution. Shoutcast might be:http://www.shoutcast.com/download/serve.phtml
JFee Posted July 16, 2008 Author Posted July 16, 2008 Yeah... I was kinda hoping to find a way to to a direct stream, but I think I'm just going to use Icecast, Liquidsoap, and VLC muttley Thanks though Regards,Josh
