What is wrong with my Send?

Recommended Posts

Here is what I have

CODE
$objMessage = ObjCreate("CDO.Message")

$objMessage.Subject = "Example CDO Message"

$objMessage.From = "me@my.com"

$objMessage.To = "rayylim@gmail.com"

$objMessage.TextBody = "This is some sample message text."

$objMessage.Send

I get the error

C:\Documents and Settings\usx22968\Desktop\Junk\email.au3 (8) : ==> The requested action with this object has failed.:

$objMessage.Send

$objMessage.Send^ ERROR

Is there something wrong with my Send?

The error message might mean that Send failed not that there was anything wrong with the command. I don't know anything about CDO but a quick search makes me wonder if you haven't set the mail server or something needed for Send to work.

I had a look at this.
