I want to create an exe-file as output from my AutoIt program.

How do I do that?

Do you mean that you want your compiled Autoit program to create an exe-file

Yes, that's exactly what I mean.

But I guess it's as easy as just naming my file ....exe or what?

It depends what will the exe-file be doing

Whoa! I hope you do not expect to just rename your script to exe and ....

It will create a window on the screen with some information. I'm about to write this with the "new" GUI's.
