Is their sufficient functionality within AutoIT to script a process capable of scanning an jpg image and based on the pixel pattern contain within that image representing an alphanumeric character convert it to its ASCII equivalent? For example a jpg photograph containing a dominant [over 50% - user controlable] image of a registration number taken when the vehicle was stationary. The alphanumeric characters are usually but not always white and the width height and spacing relationship is fairly constant. Comments would be appreciated. Ant.. :P

It'd be nothing less than an OCR, just using bitmap functions rather than pixel ones.
