Achilles Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 I realize that _GUICtrlListView_HideColumn doesn't do anything but set the size to zero. However, when set to zero the user can still expand that column if they drag the header. Is it possible to disable the user from doing this? I've looked at WM_NOTIFY and a message called $LVN_GETDISPINFO shows up a bunch whenever the column is being resized, however this message seems to come in a lot anyways all the time. Anybody have any ideas? Here's some code almost exactly from the helpfile (I enabled the $LVN_GETDISPINFO): expandcollapse popup#AutoIt3Wrapper_au3check_parameters=-d -w 1 -w 2 -w 3 -w 4 -w 5 -w 6 #include <GuiConstantsEx.au3> #include <GuiListView.au3> #include <GuiImageList.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> Opt('MustDeclareVars', 1) $Debug_LV = False; GaryFrost Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 look at _GUICtrlHeader_Create example. Change the Case $HDN_BEGINTRACK, $HDN_BEGINTRACKW to return true. also you'll need _GUICtrlListView_GetHeader. SciTE for AutoItDirections for Submitting Standard UDFs  Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference. Â

Still, I like that headers also allow you to drag columns, I'll have to implement that too.. My Programs

Knight Media Player
Multiple Desktops
Daily Comics
Journal
Achilles Posted August 3, 2008 Author Posted August 3, 2008 Shouldn't, if you use the second part that I said.Oh, I see what you mean.. I didn't really think about that, but it would make everything a ton easier. Thanks a lot! My Programs

Knight Media Player
Multiple Desktops
Daily Comics
Journal
Achilles Posted August 3, 2008 Author Posted August 3, 2008 Wow, sweet, and by applying the extended style $LVS_EX_HEADERDRAGDROP the column dragging works automatically. This is awesome! Thanks a ton Gary! My Programs

Knight Media Player
Multiple Desktops
Daily Comics
Journal
