AnyOne Knows about a good c++ book for free?

hi all, i am not good at all in c++ but knows it very well, i have a friend and he wants to learn c++ himself. i dont know what to give him because i learned it by joining a c++ Class. now let me know what can we do for him...

he wants a free,easy and with Examples/Tutorials book.

i hope someone will shortly give a link to download it.

these books are not for free..., check the title of my thread. any books for free in PDF or Office/word format?

Also let me know which one is Perfect as i asked.

In PDF or Word? I doubt there are any. Books stored in PDF are likely to be stolen if they are free.

And Word isn't meant for books.

by the way can you tell me which book is best listed in sticky thread?

I've never looked at what it actually contains. I taught myself C++ using the MSDN.

Well, since "free" is your criteria that pretty much narrows the choice.

Thread locked, the sticky exists for a reason and your question is answered there.
