Word executing AutoIt-Code

2 posts in this topic

Atm i'm doing a little holiday job at a medium sized company.

They want me to program a little word macro. I wrote it in AutoIt.

Now they'd like me to integrate the code into word to make it more user-friendly.

I'd like to get a control into word somehting like an extra button.(see the attached picture)

Maybe just a button that executes vb code.

This vb-code then executes my AutoIt code.

If i can't integrate my AutoIt code into Word they are content anyhow.

You could check out AutoItX for ActiveX/COM access to AutoIt functions.

Your Word VBA macro would make calls to AutoItX3.dll to perform AutoIt functions.

:P
