Version Checker?

Hi,

I was thinking would it be possible to make a program or part of a program that checks your version to an online one, would this be possible with say a .txt file with the current version on your PC, or all in the .exe when its been fully done?

I have a MySQL server and a web server for say any other files.

Best way would be to make it download a .txt file with a version, then make it check against the .exe's version.

Version of what? AutoIt? If that's the case have a look in AutoIt install folder under "\Extras\AutoUpdateIt"
