How to use ControlID

Recommended Posts

How do you get the :lmao: ControlClick to work. Here's what I have.

run("rundll32.exe /d shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL INETCPL.CPL","")
WinWaitActive("Internet Properties","")
ControlClick("Internet Properties","Clear &History", 1489,"","")

;---Here's the syntax
;ControlClick ( "title", "text", controlID [, button] [, clicks]] )

I just want it to launch IE and Click the "Clear History" button.

The control ID is 1489

ClassNameNN is "Buttion10"

Text is "Clear &History"

Thanks!

I'm still looking the help file and banging my head. :lmao: Did you copy the Syntax out of the help file?

Your Syntax:

ControlClick ( "title", "text", "classnameNN" [, button] [, clicks]] )

My Syntax:

ControlClick ( "title", "text", controlID [, button] [, clicks]] )
