detect registry changes

can i create a script which will detect if any exe tries to write registry enteries and the script will be able to block or allow it?

i searched the forum but results are helpless. i know about some programs like

SpyMe Tools 1.5 (Detects Registry and Disk changes with file system)

Spybot (detects registry changes)

and many other programs but i want to use AutoIt for doing it. can you tell me how can i do it? any help will be very appreciated and thanked.
