hey there i would like to know if there is a way to read the text from in-game (EVE-ONLINE)

either by reading under the mouse or by reading within a certain screen box ,

my situation :

i have a game which within this game i wanna read a certain text ...

this text is not markable \ copyable ...

it comes up in a certain boxed location on the game screen (tip kind) (always)...

AND THE MAIN PROBLAM is -> the autoit spy - doesn't detect nothing from in-game content !

is there any way to make the autoit detect ?

is it possiable by any other coding language ?

are there any commands not spelled in the help file of the autoit v3?

All you can do is hope to do a pixel check to see if the letters on screen match a pre-defined sequence. Search the forum for OCR, but I can guarantee you that it is a lot harder than you want to do.

hey well there is this program called auto mouse that i have...

its free

it will solve your problem, (is the backround behind the text opaque like it wont change colors and you cant see through it?)

but its not auto it

heres the webby:

its actually very simple to use....

get the game your running open

then on the auto mouse screen wait till the game shows up

then on the auto mouse screen click and drag that part of the picture and it will click there

it searches for that picturewhen you play the game

but if one thing changes it wont work 0.o

so too bad

Well, I know the game .. and the background changes a lot. so.. no real good.

It is possible to trick the game in making the background black in some portions black..... but it does not really apply to where text comes up.

As Andraax showed here you can set the graphic to widescreen and so get 2 black bands on the top and lower part of the screen.
