DirectX Overlay / Forced Windowed Mode

Recommended Posts

onestcoder

For the last few weeks I have wanted to make a program that would overlay a DirectX based game. After hours of research, Im not having any luck. I have found a few .dll files that claimed to allow one to do this but I know nothing about .dll file other then calling export functions.

Anyway so I thought to myself well maybe there is a way to run the DirectX games in windowed mode instead of exclusive mode instead, but then again there is the problem. I found that this is possible but I dont know how to translate C++ into autoit.

So there is way I found maybe this will make since to someone.

It is my hope to solve the DirectX overlay, but a forced windowed mode sound more likely.

The .dll files:
