Atan and Rotation. wow

4 posts in this topic

Hi i got some math problems here. To calculate the radians of X and Y.

Player x Cordinate = -4233

Player y Cordinate = -587.2

Target x Cordinate = -6243

Target y Cordinate = -684.1

i want to get my targets Rot cordinate by using my targets X and Y cordinate. i know (from wikipedia) that Atan is the function i need. but i dunno how

anyone got any good examples?

I think that exists a function to calculate the radians. Search on help file about _Radian().

He doesn't want to convert degrees->radians, he wants to learn how the Tan function works.

@tarre

Not sure what you mean, but is this the angle you want?
