Count string contain to number

hello,

i have a string where there is some text in. now i want to count the amount of letters in the string. for example

"hello" is the string

so that will mean that my code will say.. string has 5 charecters in it

is this possible because can't find it in the help

hello, got a other qeustion is there a option to wait till page is loaded..

like i already have a webpage opend. now my script send me to a other page.. so the script need to wait until the new open is opend and fully loaded.. is this possible?
