Morse code functions

Recommended Posts

SlimShady

Inspired by this topic, I created 3 morse code functions:

- String2Morse

- Morse2Str

- String2MorsePlay

The last one converts a string to morse and plays it using the PC speaker "beep".

I was wrong, the sound will be heard from the regular sound output.

There's one thing you need to know.

Morse code is case-insensitive. So when you convert morse code to a string, all characters will be uppercased.

I created a GUI that shows what these functions can do.

In the zip file I attached are included:

- Morse_GUI.au3 (GUI script + includes Morse.au3)

- Morse.au3 (include script)

- Morse_GUI.exe (includes both files above, no need for beta)

Edit:

- Fixed 2 bugs

I haven't looked but, is there a way to have the MsgBox pop up with text you can highlight and copy off? Then window that shows the morse code could be copied off and pasted into stuff :lmao:

Hmmm, I am gonna look.
