Speech UDF

Hey,

i started coding a Speech UDF, its not verry well buts a nice first try with COM.

Functions

_Speech - Creats a Speech Com Object

_SpeechSpeak - Speaks a text or file

_SpeechOption - Display a property or change it

_SpeechGetVoices - Returns an array with voices and some good Informations about them

_SpeechGetAudioOutputs - Returns an array with audiooutputs

_SpeechDisplayUI - Displays a defined Speech UI

Not Functions

stop - i think its not really usefull to code a function for this, or not ???????

pause - same

resume - same

skip - same

waituntildone - mhm .. xD

speakcompleteevent - mhmmm

speakstream - will come later

I also saw a Speech-to-Text somewhere here. Maybe you could add that in too!

I'm sorry, there have been many, many of these text-to-speech UDFs. I have one in my Autoit Wrappers thread. there are more here...

Secondly, I should have clarified, the speech-to-text I was refering to is a filewrite(() and there definetly was a speech-to-wav file. I didn't see that.

So, I did not try your UDF, I just wanted you to know about some other's work here for you to use and/or possibly expand on!

I found these SpSharedRecoContext and SpSharedRecognizer but it seems like they arent installed on my computer, so I cant do much :)

Yes there is much done with SAPI before, but the most is only speak but no really udfs, i think i am the first who created GetAudioOutput, GetVoice and DisplayUI.

And checking for right input much better then all.

Does some know how a can get the handle from the gui created with DisplayUI?

- is possible have voices list and chose one of them ?

- anyone have test script using this UDF?
