How to send keystrokes to a minimized window?

Recommended Posts

Hiding the window instead of minimizing it could be an option. You can still use ControlSend even if the window is hidden.

But if you really want the window just minimized, just ignore this suggestion.

Maybe you should try:

$GameTitle = "Warhammer: Age of Reckoning, Copyright 2001-2008 Electronic Arts, Inc."
WinWaitActive($GameTitle)
Call("Gameloop")

Func Gameloop()
    ControlSend($GameTitle, "", "", "{2}")
    Sleep(6100)
    Call("Gameloop")
EndFunc

This only works when windows are active, still working to make something that really can send and click when window is minimized.

PilotPen,

You do realise that the post previous to yours dates from close to 11 years ago? Please refrain from resurrecting threads of that era in future.

And as I pointed out to you here, we no longer allow game interactive scripts so your suggested solution would foul of the Forum rules to which you were pointed. Please re-acquaint yourself with them before posting again.
