getting contols inside a QWidget

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Iam fairly new to autoit , im working on an automating a program for my company , the program is a legacy software and was written by a client from outside....

This is what the user interface looks like:

What we are trying to do is retrieve the data from the highlighted green box and then colourize each line containing a checkbox with different colours in case the data has met some requirements etc.

The problem im facing is that autoit wont identify the text inside the green box, not even the check boxes. It takes the entire green box as one control . I managed to retieve the data from the lines using some keyboard shortcut keys defined in the legacy program....but i really need some way to change the colours of the line and edit them . The legacy program itself doesnt have any feature to do it, so i intended to use auto and controls.

This is the data that the "window info" gives me off the green box:

>>>> Control <<<<

Class: QWidget

Instance: 24

ClassnameNN: QWidget24

Advanced (Class): [CLASS:QWidget; INSTANCE:24]

Text: qt_viewport

Position: 2, 363

Size: 840, 172

ControlClick Coords: 207, 38

Style: 0x56000000

ExStyle: 0x00000000

Handle: 0x009D049E

>>>> Mouse <<<<

Position: 295, 447

Cursor ID: 0

Color: 0xEBEBEB

Would appreciate any help.....

Hi, naveen

Did you find any solution to this?

I am working now with the same application and wondering if there is any way to really test it with AutoIt.
