Typing Replaces Text instead of inserting it

4 posts in this topic

Somehow I changed some setting that's making my typing replace text instead of inserting it. I don't know what key combo I hit to make it do that, but I can't really keep working with it like this.

Normally I would spend the time to search and browse through the forums until I can find my answer, but I'm working on a deadline and I've already wasted too much time looking for it on google.

Please someone help me... or redirect me to a post/help page with the info.

Well it didn't look wrong to me, though maybe unusual.

From Wikipedia

It is doubtful if there ever was the distinction claimed between "shall" and "will" in the language.
