AutoIt script pausing in a strange way

So I have this script that I've been using for months without any problems but recently (after a few changes to the script and a reformat of the computer) I find myself glancing at the computer and seeing the mouse placed exactly in the center of the Autoit icon in the taskbar and the script paused. So far it seems like this happens randomly as I have yet to see whatever actually causes this.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any clues as to what could be the possible cause? I have gone through the script numerous times and none of my "MouseClick"s go anywhere near the coordinates of where the icon sits.
