philw
Hi, I have three controls in a window, a multi-line edit control, a list and a button. I want to highlight a few lines of text in the edit control, click on an item in the list and then click on the button. When the button is clicked, a function applies the item selected in the list to the highlighted text. However, as soon as I click on the list, the highlighting in the edit control vanishes, and _GUICtrlEdit_GetSel returns an empty string. Any way of preventing this? Thanks! Normally, without ES_NOHIDESEL specified, an edit control "hides" the selection when it loses focus. In other words, the selection is not highlighted, but the text still appears as normal.
