rabbitkillrun
My question's in the title really... I had a look into C++ and found something that i could have used, but i'm an extreme novice at it and couldn't quite understand it... What i want to do, basically, is be able to take a number (something that i had just calculated and stuck in a variable/array...) and use that as teh sample value... so with that, i could, say, calculate a series of samples to make a sine wave, store that in a variable, and send those values straight to the speakers, creating a pure tone... So... Can this be done...? i just need the basics, and i can work on it from there... I just want to know if there is a way, and how, i can use a number as a sample value in a wave file and play it... thanks... Sean G...

monoceres
Not exactly what you want, but I posted an example how to play raw pcm data some time ago. It reads the audio data from a .wav file but I guess you could fill the buffer by yourself.http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...c=79986&hl= Broken link? PM me and I'll send you the file!
