MailMerge - list of merge fields.

Hi All,

I have written a little mailmerger program for some of my users - who can't work the ms word mailmerge options...

Works great... But (there is always a but), some of my users are trying to merge data files that should not go with some templates...

I am trying to make this idiot proof - I would like to dump all the merge fields into an array or text file and then check this against the data file before the merge - and give a nice (single) error message if the check fails.

I am not sure where to begin, or even if this is the right place. I have tried a couple of MS Word email/help groups to no avail.

Please help.
