golfjrr
What about just using *.au3 for everything or is that too simple ??? This version of http://www.autoitscript.com/fileman/users/jdeb/test/au3.properties will work for you..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Thank you. It now work with your supplied properties file. It would be nice if SciTe made it easier to add more extensions to work exactly as the .au3 extension.Yea in some ways it would be easier to just call everything .au3, but then again I like at a glance knowing what is main code and what are include/routines. As in my experience has always been the case in other programming enviroments I have used. Probably just more what I am used to.

However when trying to use the tidy function it fires up then gives an AutoIt Error OK box...in tidy.exeFor $X = 1 to $Scriptrecs[0]For $X = 1 to $Scriptrecs^ERRORError: Subscript used with non-Array variable. It also appears to mysteriously remove the source file from the disk.. and unless I make a change and save it back, it's not there anymore. I have changed the au3.properties to use the $(file.patterns.au3) and will be in the next installer.I just separate the include/routine files by putting them all in a separate directory.
