This works

;
Opt ("TrayOnEventMode", 1)
Opt ("TrayMenuMode", 1)
Opt ("TrayAutoPause", 0)
$sRghtFunc = "_exitall"
TraySetOnEvent(-10, $sRghtFunc)
TraySetOnEvent(-8, "_Func2")
;

This doesn't work

;
Opt ("TrayOnEventMode", 1)
Opt ("TrayMenuMode", 1)
Opt ("TrayAutoPause", 0)
$sRghtFunc = "_exitall"
$sLftFunc = "_Func2"
TraySetOnEvent(-10, $sRghtFunc)
TraySetOnEvent(-8, $sLftFunc )
;

It returns an unknown function and yet the function does exist and works fine in the first example.

$sLftFunc = "_Func2") <--- Hey, look at me, I'm a ) that doesn't belong.

Clear enough?

Clearer than clear.

That was just an error in the posted code. In my code it is correct and I edited that error out in the post.

I was actually passing the variable as a function parameter the same as I do for $sRghtFunc. There is nothing in the actual function that would cause the issue so I just replicated the failure here.

@Manadar Yes, it's the AutoIt error.

Good evening,

Sorry to cloud the issue further, but I have just run the following without any problems:

;
Opt ("TrayOnEventMode", 1)
Opt ("TrayMenuMode", 1)
Opt ("TrayAutoPause", 0)
$sRghtFunc = "_exitall"
$sLftFunc = "_Func2"
TraySetOnEvent(-10, $sRghtFunc)
TraySetOnEvent(-8, $sLftFunc)

While 1
    Sleep(50)
WEnd

Exit

Func _exitall()
    ConsoleWrite("Right" & @CRLF)
EndFunc

Func _Func2()
    ConsoleWrite("Left" & @CRLF)
EndFunc

This is using 3.3.0.0 with SciTE 1.77 on Vista 32.

Thanks.

I may have to take another look at the Functions and perhaps even post them with a replicator script.
