While (NOR?)

Recommended Posts

Ok... we have 3 variables

$hello1

$hello2

$hello3

We want use a function that will use a while our function is NOT equal to $hello1, $hello2, or $hello3

So my ideal idea would be...

while (blank) NOT-EQUAL $hello1 NOR $hello2 NOR $hello3

Sleep(1000)

WEnd

What could I do to get this same effect? Because NOR doesn't work.

Thanks

What is "our function"?

What is "(blank)"?

What do you want those three variables compared to?

What Jos posted will test all three compared to Boolean FALSE. Are you meaning to compare those three to a fourth value from somewhere?

:)

Blank is a memory read function. And yes, while will be sleeping until (blank) is equal to one of those three variables. Sorry for not being descriptive enough :o

You could also do this:

While Not($hello1 = $blank Or $hello2 = $blank Or $hello3 = $blank)

The easiest syntax to compare to multiple variables is:

Switch _YourMemFunc()
      Case $hello1, $hello2, $hello3
            _EqualToOneOfThem()
EndSwitch
