what is the easiest way to get text under mouse curser?

when i click a text i wanted to get that text so that i can past it on a inbox or a listbox , what is the easiest way to do that ? or to get text under mouse curser how to get a text under mouse curser ....i know this is very easy to do but i am finding lil difficult to get it ...

What about getting the text from the clipboard ? Of course, it requires the user to do a couple of clicks to copy the text.

First of all thanks for the fast reply , yes your right i also wnated to get the text when the user click an item , like say theres lot of names on a list box , i wanted to get the names as soon as the user click a particulra name , after that i wnat that name to put onto another list box , lol difficult to understand ha , sorry for my bad explanation ,
