Hello all,

I'm new at autoit and first checking features before using it, I have the following need

Simulate a simultaneous SHIFT key holding and a mouse click.

I've seen some mouse control and keyboard control, but no function to simulate both at same time, am i missing something ?

Many thanks.

Olivier

please see help file:

{SHIFTDOWN} Holds the SHIFT key down until {SHIFTUP} is sent

between shiftdown/up you can do your mouse actions as needed.

Regards, Rudi.

trap16,

Try Send("{SHIFTDOWN}"), then use MouseClick, and finally Send("{SHIFTUP}").

Be aware that you might have to send {SHIFTUP} a few times to make sure that the shift is cleared. It should be fairly obvious if it is still stuck down!

Thanks a lot for these information, i'm going to study deeper example and help files, I guess autoit can do everything I expect from a automatization tool.
