Help Needed: How do I add Publisher and Description to my exe files?

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if this is specific to AutoIt or not, but can someone tell me how to add Publisher and Description information to .exe files (that is, the info that is displayed when you right-click a file, or use a utility such as Autoruns)?

Any info would be appreciated.

Use the AutoItWrapper directives when compiling an AutoIt script (you will need the full SciTE4AutoIt install):

Using the _Res_Field directive as shown above, you can add whatever other properties you need. Up to you to work out how to read them - I only use those items which show up in Properties.
