Mouse click inactive window?

Recommended Posts

Is it even remotely possible to click an inactive window or get a pixel color from one? I have an intermediate understanding of AutoIt.

I found a few threads about this and all of them end with someone saying "No. but yes, go find a dll"

I have no clue where to find this dll and what to do with it once I find it :)

Any help would me appreciated.

Yes, with ControlClick you can tell it to click in that window. Actually Control-anything will work when it is off-focus

However you cannot get a pixel from it because the color would be null if the application is minimized. You need to do some DLL calls to get it to work and it is in this forum on pixel grabbing.
