I want to disable Autoformat for Excel because it changes numbers to dates.

I have searched for an answer and I have found 2 possibilities: format the cell as text and then write to it, but it doesn't always work for all computers; and the seccond one set it from excel-options, but I'm searching for another way.

Isn't it another way of disableing it without actually opening the Excel, and make it general for all excel sheets? I was wondering if it couldbe changed from registry, but I haven't found anything saying about this.

I whant to make this from autoit, so, if someone knows the answer, please share it.

Thx in advance!

You need to look at the Excel Object model to do this.

I just got to begin to understand working with objects...I don't even know what to look for...
