qwert
Under Windows Vista, the tooltips of a database application I use look terrible. They have a white-to-blue gradient and rounded corners -- plus the gradient has a banded appearance, not smooth.I would like to force them to have the same pale yellow that XP uses. I've looked high and low on the Internet for some way to set them for that one application (although I wouldn't mind if all apps reverted to the same).I've tried changing the Advanced settings for Vista Basic and Vista Standard, but neither has any effect. I know I can change to the Windows Classic style and get them, but I don't want to lose the Vista look of the taskbar and window frames.Does anyone have a clue as to what controls an app's tooltip style? Is it a registry setting? Or a theme file somewhere? Ideally, I'd like to have an AutoIt3 script make a dll call or two and correct them for this one application.I know this is a long shot, but I'm hoping someone will know. Thanks for any help.
