search a page in an old help file?

This Windows Help program sucks, but it's got the info I need if I can just find it on the huge page.

The program doesn't have a Find function. I was wondering if AutoIt could do a find? Basically read the text on the page, look for a word, and then highlight that word.

I'm guessing it's not really practical. But I'm hoping it's possible anyway.

When you say old helpfile, like how old? Can you context click on the text area to get a context menu to show up? If so, do you see a menu item that says "View Source"?

How old: Microsoft Windows Help 5.1.2600 © 1990-2000 Microsoft.

Context menu: yes.

View Source: no

There is a Copy command which will copy the entire text, minus formatting, to clipboard.
