Single AutoIt executable to be used on 32 and 64 bit architecture

I seem to be facing a similar problem, ObjCreate("shell.application") fails on a 64 macine, when compiled for 32 bits.

Is this a known/reported bug?

Is there a work around (other than making both a 32 and 64 version) ?
