Capture string from open webpage

Hi, trying to figure out how do I use autoit to capture a string automaticly from a webpage which is open and save it to a file?

I know how the string starts but tried to capture it to the end of line with out a success so far....any help here...

Hi, Welcome to the Forums! There's usually many different ways to approach any situation, so it helps us a lot if you can post the code that you're trying to use (that isn't working).

In your case, for example, I could post code that could open a webpage and get a string from it and write it to a file, but the website you're trying to go to might work differently so it wouldn't help you at all!

So... Please post some code and I'm sure someone'll help you out. :)
