i have startrek armada 1 (NOT 2) and i want to run it in a window. it does not have a window setting. i have already serched and found nothing usefull. winsetstate() has not worked, nither has running with -w or -windowed command (shortcut).

i want to run it windowed to get the control ID's useing autoitwindowinfo.exe (the one that comes with autoit)

already searched for getting control id's of fullscreen games with no luck, i also have not found how to run it windowed on armada forms either (but i would perfer to do it in autoit).

i need your help

I've never tried to do what you're doing but you can resize windows using WinMove. hehe yes it also moves windows:)

That might work with his game, but I tried it with Warcraft III myself. The problem is that I can't figure out what the title is without the window info tool, and I can't use that tool on it unless it is windowed.

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

If it runs full screen, I doubt there are any controls you can get the ID of.

Also, games that are designed to run in full screen modes may not function correctly in a windows mode.

Try simply putting " -window" at the end if you haven't already. Don't forget the space.
