rss Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Hey. I'm curious - if you turn your scripts into .exe files, can you keep them on your desktop and use them regularly even if you uninstall AutoIt itself? Can I bring a bunch of scripts with me on a memory stick to use them on my friends' computers without bothering to install auto it every time? Thanks!

rajeshontheweb Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 to start , its best to use Scite4Autoit thats one of the most preferred interface for AutoIT, i would think... just compile it and build it , u will get an exe file. Started late is much better than having never started it!!!!Failure is another step towards success. I've been messing around with: Adding Entry to 'Hosts'File Information Lister (Logger)Yet Another AutoIT Error Handler Yet Another AutoIT Error Handler & Debugger Control your App's TaskBar Button YCurrency Ticker (Latest Release : 16 Apr 2009)_WinInetInternetCheckConnection UDF Symantec Definitions Lister UDF _GetLocalIPAddresses UDF UDF to get Special Folder Information WMI_NetworkAdapterConfiguration2Array WMI_CDRomDriveCapabilities _ScriptExists - Check if your au3 script is running!! Uninstaller UDF Get Version for your application (at script level or compiled stage) Uninstaller Pro - faster alternative to windows application removal applet
