colafrysen
Hi just wondering if this is a limitation in AutoIt or if the creators of Windows XP has used a workaround. from what i understand the only GUI controls accepting dragging and dropping of files are the Edit and the Input. and NOT the Combo. I think this is kind of weird because the window "Run" (Win+r) does accept files. is there a workaround for AutoIt to make the Combo accept files? LarryDalooza
A combo control contains an edit control... I don't know if that changes things for you. AutoIt has helped make me wealthy
colafrysen
Ahh, just tested the au3 window info tool on the run box, and as you said it is composed by 2 elements, but can you access the edit and combo in the combobox separately? And btw, the window info tool does not seem to like the list of previously used items. (it does not respond when examining the control) Edited March 21, 2009 by colafrysen Use the helpfile, It´s one of the best exlusive features of Autoit.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q555375ALIBI Run - a replacement for the windows run promptPC Controller - an application for controlling other PCsScience flies us to the moon.
