Well, i have very little knowlege about 7zip...have checked out some comments on this site, but im still slightly confused.

Anyone here have a "simple" command line that i can use to do the following?

ie 1) zip 5 files from a directory and create a "sfx"

2) Extract all 5 files and execute a specific file to run after extraction of the sfx. ( What i mean is, can 7zip do all this by itself

Thats it :P

Thanks BrettF for your help...appreciated, but what i actually wanted to know ( i know its got nothing 2 do with AutoIt), is if 7zip by "itself" can do a sfx compilation as well as running an "exe" from it...without using Autoit :P

Yes, it can, and no, this is not the right forum: 7-Zip: Open Discussion
