mentosan Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Hello ! I'm running a script which sometimes gives me this error: "Line -1: Error: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded" What is generating this error ? What is the maximum range for subscript dimension ? Thank you in advance for your answer !
Moderators Melba23 Posted March 23, 2009 Moderators Posted March 23, 2009 mentosan, I presume you have compiled your script - that deprives you of line numbering and hence the "-1" call. Try running the script directly from SciTE and see if you can get a better notion of where the error occurs. This type of error often occurs because you are expecting an array as the return value from a function - and you do not get it because of an error. Then when you try and use the array......
