Pixelcolors of .png image to array?

Is there any way to get all the pixelcolors of a png image and place it in a array without using pixelgetcolor?

With gdi or something?

I want to do this without showing the image on the screen.

The pixels are looped through but not put into an array. You will have to figure that out.l
