First Script (error parsing function call)

well shellexecute and Run returns no values

and i dont have @error set

oh, tried to edit my above post, it does work if i point it directly to the exe, but i still havent accomplished my mission of launching a shortcut

thanks for the help guys

*edit* .lnk doesnt seem to work, neither does .shortcut

Sorry man don't know what else to tell you! Maybe do a subdir search for it and see where it's kept? Maybe it's not in any of the directories you've been trying, though it should be.

dir \thule.lnk /s

What's wrong with just launching the exe since you already confirmed that it worked?
