ferranb
Hi, I'm running an script which have to automatically click some buttons and checkbox each hour on an application. The main problem is that when the screen gets locked or the screen-saver runs, the autoit screen does not find the windows.... There are any way to avoid this? Can automated interaction be runned when screen-saver is running, when the terminal get locked or through services? Thanks a lot! Bert
nope. You would need to have the PC unlocked if you wish to do this. If you can do it with command line, then you could run a script to do it. However, if it involves clicking on a GUI, then it won't work. The Vollatran project My blog: http://www.vollysinterestingshit.com/
ferranb
Thanks for your answer. It's possible with autoit to "unlock" the screen?
Bert
again, nope. If your screen is locked, it requires manual input from the keyboard. Now, you can use the scheduler built into windows to run what you want, but it has to be command line driven. Another approach you may want to look at is you may be able to do a remote connection to the unit with VNC for example and do it that way. However, the only way I know of to interact with the controls on the remote PC is using mouse clicks. Saying that, you could have the script you need to run be set off by a simple mouse click on the icon on the remote desktop.
