Desable internet without disabling LAN

Recommended Posts

Off that one application yes you could use the windows firewall command. However I would look into the startups and block out the keywords such as http|https, this stuff can be gathered from going into Regedit (strongly advise you not to do it this way) or Autoruns by Sysinternal and look under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Protocols\Handler . You can block out what you want to but still keep everything running

Then your class room can be blocked by windows firewall. Open the Firewall up under Control Panel depending on what kind of windows you have you need to find where it says allow programs you then can block access to that one application. Just to note when I was in school and they tried to enforce that I could always find another way around that and this attempt will only bring in different type of browsers, but lets say you do get every browser type then how will you try to enforce that rule. By blocking everything that connects, also then if you do block everything except the local connections then you need to block students from getting into the software. Just wanted you to see how this will affect everything down the line

my idea is to redirect all internet request (0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0) to a fake loopback (127.0.01) .

in other terms: i need to telle system that all internet trafic must use localhost as getaway.

all that with only one command/script

i know that is possible with ROUTE command but my english is very poor to understand all options and doc....

thanks for your reponse
