Passing a string via plugins and a compiler error

Recommended Posts

I decided I would at least try to search out other solutions to my Com problems. One of those would be rewriting the application as an autoit plugin, or a standalone GUI-less server, or rewriting the COM interface entirely.

When using the plugin interface to pass a string (see the messagebox example) it returns gibberish. I assume this has something to do with the unicode changes in the last release. Is that easily fixed, and how would I go about it?

Also, I'm getting an error while compiling AIMLpad (the application which I'm trying to work with. I've compiled the COM version successfully.)

edit: Was just a settings issue. still having trouble with the plugins, though

Thanks!

Have you looked at the File-String Hash plugin that I created. I believe I have uploaded all source in that thread if not, let me know... (Link in my signature).

P.S. If strings still don't work, then I may have to go back and re-do my plugins... let me know!!

Sure, I'll check it out. There might be something I'm not doing correctly, or something outdated in the docs. :D
