AJJ
I do alot of drama with a youth group with the charity that i work with. I tried creating a cool looking sound desk on flash that would play sound effects when you click the buttons (they basically just link to files that are called "sound1.wma" or sound2.wav etc. then i wanted to make it so you could name them and eventually save a profile (but that bits for another day maybe)) anyway, in the end the flash thing didnt work because for some reason links that are identical with identical sounds, coding and links (apart from one character) will not work. (sound1.mp3 will work but sound2.mp3 will not work and some times vice versa) i eventually couldnt find any reason for it and there was no variables or patterns in what was happening so i shelved it. but now discovering AUTOit i was wondering how you would make the user interface for this type of program, and maybe it would be good to be able to create a profile and attach mp3s to the "desk" and then export the profile to be used somewhere else. not sure, but yeah even if i just had the help to the GUI (i dont know how to do this) then i could probably figure out the next step (like how to shellexecute a MP3 or somthing) so it would need buttons to the sounds, the names of the sounds and a start stop... but the main thing would be so it can be cued to play quickly with no mp3 loading times... thanks for any help or ideas! AJJ
so far i know what the tutorials have taught me, but im really really not coding minded, and dont really have anywhere else to learn from. I learnt HTML (basics) but taking little bits that people had and changing them slightly to see what happens. and ive only known about this program for 4 days!
