I've got some programming skills, so I was wondering if it's possible for a beginner to attempt a project like this?

Yes. and it should be possible to do in the background too.

If you want to do it you will probably want to do some research into how access stores th files...I don't know about this, and it could make it a lot easier, as you wouldn't have to open up access. As for the form filling, check out the window tool and ControlSend in the helpfile.

Thanks for your help, mdiesel. Any idea if AutoIt can still fill in online forms if the website is coded by java applet or flash?
