StringInStr returning incorrect position

here is the string = C:\xxxxxxx\xxxxxxxx.xxx and it returns a pos of 11

$s_pos = StringInStr($show_path, "\", 0, -1)

What is left after i strip the end off a $s_pos is this:

C:\xxxxxxx\x

Am I doing something wrong?

How are you stripping it?

Are you removing the 11 rightmost chars (wrong), or removing lengthOfString-11 chars? Or try StringLeft($string, 11)
