Recovery Deleted Objects from AD

Recommended Posts

Hello guys...

I am not sure if it is the right place to put something like that but there I go:

Guys, I have read about Recovery Deleted Objects from AD, like adrestore from systinternals.

I have tried to find something .vbs or in AutoIT to perform a GUI or something like that.

Any body have coded something like that?

Looks to me like you should just get the SysInternals ADRestore utility.

Reanimation of a tombstoned AD object requires use of an LDAP Control. AutoIt can make the LDAP query, but you'll have to dig deep to find enough documentation of the AD-specific, Microsoft proprietary, "Return Deleted Objects" LDAP control.

Post it if you find it. It will be educational if nothing else.
