My first script; RegCall

Recommended Posts

Hyuna

Hi,

I'm proud to present my first script. I made it because I was a bit bored and I liked the programming language. I'm sure the code looks abit newbie-ish. This script is still work in progress.

Every thing should work except for the settings gui, and I am having some trouble with the Find function.

With this script you can log problems, actions, solutions ect... I use this mostly for my work (i'm a SysAdmin).

Mostly this script is my 'Fun project'..... So take a look, its all about the feedback. I love comments, arguments en such

P.S. This forum helped me a lot, keep up the good works people!

Thanks for the nice reply's....

I need some help though with the Find Calls button. What i want is to use wildcards in the search string. I can not seem to figure it out. Who wants to help me?

Greets,

Vincent

Nice first script.

A possible improvement: Use SQL database to store your call info and another for your user data.

DAM you beat me by a few minutes.

I'd suggest SQL LITE for it's portability.

Also this would also solve your searching problem as you just use SQL queries to do the search.

Good Luck
